In the second quarter of 2025, the top five news and magazine applications on the Android platform in Guatemala demonstrated varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) saw its weekly revenue peak at around $724 in late March, before experiencing fluctuations, closing the quarter at approximately $320. Weekly downloads showed a slight increase in mid-May, reaching 7.5K, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at around 605K.

NYTimes: US and Global News experienced modest weekly revenues, peaking at $77 at the start of the quarter. Downloads remained low, averaging around 30 per week, with active users maintaining a similar level throughout the quarter.
